Co-head of Kosovo’s delegation in dialogue with Serbia, Fatmir Limaj, confirmed that a platform drafted by the negotiation team setting principles of dialogue with Belgrade will be submitted to Parliament this week.
Limaj said that this is a unique opportunity for unification he expects the Parliament vote the platform. “I expect the Assembly to vote the platform and Kosovo gets an official position in dialogue with Serbia,” Limaj wrote in Twitter.
The state delegation has drafted a platform on dialogue last week setting principles of the EU-facilitated dialogue with Belgrade but the platform is yet to be confirmed by Parliament. Opposition parties are disputing the role of the negotiation team of Government saying that Government has lost its legitimacy and negotiators have no credibility to reach a potential deal with Serbia.
